
The rate of the precious metal has now reached Rs349,200 compared to Rs347,100 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a sharp rise of Rs1,800, now priced at Rs299,382 versus Rs297,582 earlier. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased to Rs274,443 from Rs272,784.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged. Per tola silver held steady at Rs3,497, while 10 grams stayed at Rs2,998.
On the international front, gold climbed by $21 to hit $3,310 per ounce, with silver recorded at $32.97.
