Dr Fazeela Abbasi, sister of actor Hamza Ali Abbasi, is in trouble as the FIA has renewed the money laundering investigation against her. A Sessions Court has cancelled her interim bail in the high-profile Rs25 Arab case.

According to reports, Rs25,000,000,000 were moved through Dr Fazeela Abbasi’s 22 bank accounts. The FIA alleges that funds were transferred to Dubai and the USA, and the source of the money remains unclear.

Earlier, the Islamabad High Court had closed one of the cases against Dr Fazeela Abbasi, but FIA successfully appealed the verdict, and the second case has now been reinstated. Investigators continue probing the massive financial transactions linked to her accounts.

Dr Fazeela Abbasi, an aesthetician by profession, belongs to the prominent Abbasi family. Her brother, Hamza Ali Abbasi, is a popular actor, making this FIA money laundering case particularly high-profile and widely discussed in Pakistan.
