LAHORE: (Web Desk) Pakistan’s superstar actress Mahira Khan faced a distressing incident of harassment during the promotion of her upcoming film Love Guru.

Mahira is currently in London alongside co-star Humayun Saeed to promote the film. The two recently attended a promotional event at the Indo-Pak Supermarket in Ilford Town—but what was meant to be a meet-and-greet quickly spiraled into chaos due to poor management and lack of proper security.

Right from the outset, the crowd grew uncontrollable, and event security proved utterly ineffective. Videos circulating on social media show Mahira surrounded by a mob, visibly overwhelmed, and being hurriedly escorted into the store under tense circumstances.

Sources report that as Mahira entered the venue, she was subjected to inappropriate physical contact by at least three individuals—one of whom was allegedly a member of the security team itself. Mahira immediately lodged a complaint with the organizers and expressed her anger and disappointment over the mishandling of the situation.

Throughout the ordeal, Humayun Saeed was seen trying to shield Mahira and keep her safe. However, things deteriorated to the point where she had no choice but to leave the event midway.

Following the incident, both fans and members of the entertainment industry took to social media to express outrage. Several well-known personalities condemned the negligence of the organizers and called for stricter measures to ensure artists can engage with fans in a secure and respectful environment.
