CM announces free education for children, industrial and mine workers
PUNJAB (Web Desk): In Punjab, the registered workers' children will get free education at COMSATS University.

Islamabad, and its sub-campuses located in Abbottabad, Wah Cantt, Attock, Lahore, Sahiwal, and Vehari. Free education facility at COMSATS University will also be extended to the children of disabled or deceased workers.

Registered workers may apply by the following deadlines: July 9 Islamabad Campus, July 17 Lahore Campus, August 4 Wah Cantt and Abbottabad Campuses, August 4 Vehari and Attock Campuses, August 11 Sahiwal Campus you can send the applications till August 15.

With the application form, candidates are required to attach the worker s national identity card, registration certificate, student s national identity card or B-form, a copy of social security card or old-age benefit card. The children of workers will apply online via COMSATS University s website and submit the documents along with the admission form.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said, "Workers are our pride. We will provide every facility including education and healthcare. We are opening the doors of higher education institutions for every worker’s child in Punjab. No child, even a laborer’s, will be deprived of education now. We are taking historic steps for the welfare of workers, the likes of which have not been seen before."
