Confidential files, reportedly shared on Telegram, outline a detailed disinformation strategy aimed at shifting blame to Pakistan.
The leak has raised serious questions about India’s internal coordination, as the premature media blame contradicted the original plan to wait 36 hours before pushing an anti-Pakistan narrative.
According to the documents, titled "Psy Ops and Narrative Control", the plan involved manipulating media coverage, deploying field agents disguised as tourist monitors, and using AI to fabricate eyewitness accounts. Leaked instructions also reference the use of fake ISI documents planted near the attack site in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
The operation was allegedly timed to coincide with a diplomatic visit by U.S. Vice President JD Vance and aimed to draw global attention away from Kashmir by fueling fears of Islamic extremism.
Sources suggest the leak may have originated from dissenting elements within RAW opposed to the Hindutva agenda.
Backup scenarios were also mentioned, including contingency plans for Shopian and a warning about possible unrest in Balochistan. Surveillance directives targeted CPEC and Gwadar, while limits were imposed on the portrayal of Hindu casualties to prevent public backlash.
The documents warn of possible BLA and BNA reactions in Balochistan post-Kashmir attack, with cells in Sui and Quetta scheduled to become active within 3 to 48 hours.
Defense analysts claim the evidence confirms suspicions of a state-sponsored false flag. “This attack follows a familiar pattern where civilian lives are sacrificed to advance a political narrative,” one analyst said, adding that such tactics have long been associated with Modi’s approach to Kashmir.
