Peshawar (Web Desk): Two of the most wanted terrorists were eliminated in a CTD operation in Tank, with weapons and ammunition recovered, marking a major security success.

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted the operation in Sheikh Awtar, under the jurisdiction of Gomal Police Station, targeting terrorists responsible for attacks on law enforcement and civilians.

According to the CTD, the militants opened fire on the team, triggering a 40-minute gunfight. After the exchange, the two TTP militants—Imdadullah and Toqir—were found dead during the search operation.

Authorities recovered two Kalashnikovs, six magazines, cartridges, and two bandoliers from the slain terrorists.

The CTD confirmed that both militants were involved in several high-profile attacks, including an IED blast that killed five policemen, the hostage-taking of officers at Government Girls Middle School Rori, and another IED attack on a police van in Kanodi Patan, which resulted in two more deaths.
