(Web Desk): Eidul Fitr holidays in Pakistan official notification 2026 has been issued, indicating a possible three day public holidays for citizens.

The government has released the expected schedule for Eid holidays after the holy month of ramazan. According to early information shared through the public holiday calendar of the Cabinet Division, people across the country may get a three day break.

Under the proposed schedule, Eidul Fitr Day 1 is expected on Saturday, 21 March 2026, followed by Day 2 on Sunday, 22 March 2026. The third day, Monday, 23 March 2026, will coincide with Pakistan Day, which could extend the festive celebrations.

Because the third holiday overlaps with the national day, many people may enjoy a longer break for travel, family gatherings and Eid celebrations.

However, the final confirmation of Eid dates will depend on the announcement of the Shawwal moon by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. The committee traditionally confirms Eid after observing the moon at the end of ramazan.

Eidul Fitr is one of the most important religious festivals for Muslims. It marks the end of a month of fasting, prayers and charity observed during ramazan.
