
During a phone call with Iran’s President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday, the crown prince emphasised Riyadh’s belief that Israel’s actions are meant to pull Washington into a broader war. He also voiced confidence that Iran would respond wisely and prevent Tel Aviv from achieving its aims.
“Today, the entire Islamic world stands united behind you,” Prince Mohammed told President Pezeshkian.
The Iranian president said that since taking office, he has prioritized regional peace, stability, and security. However, he added, Israel has repeatedly attempted to derail those efforts whenever progress seemed within reach.

Pezeshkian expressed hope for stronger cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia to restore calm across the Middle East.
Tensions escalated dramatically after Israel launched airstrikes inside Iranian territory on Friday night, targeting air defense systems, nuclear facilities, and senior military figures. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio quickly denied any American role in the attacks.
In retaliation, Iran launched missile strikes deep into Israeli territory, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Iranian authorities have made it clear that their response will continue as long as necessary.
By Saturday, Israel had reportedly carried out two more attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure, pushing the conflict to new heights. Another large wave of Iranian retaliatory strikes is expected Saturday night.
