Here are the reported death tolls as of March 9, more than a week after the war began. Reuters has not independently verified these figures.
Iran: At least 1,230 people have been killed, including 175 schoolgirls and staff, in a missile strike on a primary school in Minab in southern Iran on the first day of the war, according to the Iranian Red Crescent Society. The overall death toll may not include casualties from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The Iranian army also said that 104 people were killed when a US submarine sank an Iranian warship off Sri Lanka last week. These deaths were not included in the Red Crescent figures.
Israel: The military reported two soldiers killed in southern Lebanon, the first troop fatalities since hostilities with Hezbollah resumed. Eleven civilians have also died, including nine in a missile strike on Beit Shemesh near Jerusalem on March 1.
United States: Seven US servicemembers have been killed in action during operations against Iran.
Lebanon: At least 394 people have died in Israeli strikes, including 83 children, according to the Lebanese health ministry.
Saudi Arabia: Two people were killed when a projectile hit a residential area in Al-Kharj city, southeast of Riyadh.

Bahrain: One person died after a fire broke out at Salman Industrial City following a missile interception on March 2.
Kuwait: One child was killed in Iranian attacks. Additionally, two interior ministry officers and two army soldiers were killed while on duty.
Oman: One person died when a projectile hit the Marshall Islands-flagged tanker MKD VYOM off the coast of Muscat.
United Arab Emirates: Four people have been killed, according to the defense ministry.
Syria: Four people died when an Iranian missile struck a building in the southern city of Sweida on February 28.
Iraq: At least 15 people have been killed, including one commander from the Iran-backed Islamic Resistance in Iraq, whose vehicle was hit in an airstrike on March 5.
