(Web Desk): The government has increased the BISP Kafalat program payment to Rs14,500 for thousands of women under the Benazir Income Support Programme.

Senator Rubina Khalid, chairperson of BISP, shared the good news in a special video message. She said women previously received Rs13,500 under the Kafalat program, but the government decided to increase the amount due to rising inflation and economic pressures.

According to her, every registered beneficiary will now receive the new quarterly installment of Rs14,500. The increase is expected to provide some financial relief to low-income families who rely on the program for basic needs.

Rubina Khalid also advised women to carefully count the full amount when receiving their payment. She warned beneficiaries not to accept any deduction and immediately report the issue if they feel money has been reduced. To ensure fairness, BISP has activated a simple and effective complaint system.

If any woman faces deduction or receives less money, she can visit the nearest Tehsil office and contact the assistant director or relevant officer. To file a complaint, she must fill out a special form with her name, CNIC number, mobile number, payment location, and details of the deduction.

The chairperson added that if a woman cannot fill the form herself, staff at the office will guide and assist her. After verification of the complaint, the concerned bank will be directed to take action. If the deduction is confirmed, the affected woman will receive her full payment back.

For further guidance, beneficiaries can also contact the BISP helpline 080026477. Officials say the step aims to strengthen transparency in the Benazir Kafalat program and ensure that every eligible woman receives her complete payment on time without any deductions.

The payment increase shows the government is trying to help poor families during rising inflation. Even a small increase like this can support household expenses. The complaint system is also important because it may reduce illegal deductions. If implemented properly, the program could become more transparent and helpful for deserving women.
