Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) has collected over Rs220 billion in taxes during the first eight months of the current financial year, marking a significant rise compared to last year.

The total collection is Rs63 billion higher than the same period in the previous fiscal year, when PRA had collected Rs156,3 billion. Officials said this increase reflects stronger compliance and better revenue management.

The monthly tax review meeting, chaired by Moazzam Iqbal Supra, highlighted the exceptional performance of regional commissioners. Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Asif, Faisalabad Commissioner Aftab Ahmed, and Rawalpindi Commissioner Khalid Amin were praised for consistently meeting monthly revenue targets.
