LAHORE: (Web Desk) In a surprising move, Kia Motors has significantly reduced the prices of its popular hybrid SUV, the Kia Sportage L, in Pakistan.

The price cuts appear to be a strategic response to growing competition in the market—particularly the launch of the new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid variant. Kia aims to solidify its position in the competitive hybrid SUV segment with this aggressive pricing.

According to the official details, the Kia Sportage L HEV has seen a whopping price drop of Rs1.851 million, bringing its new price down to Rs10.999 million. Similarly, the Sportage L FWD now costs Rs9.999 million after a Rs1.826 million reduction.

The most budget-friendly variant, Sportage L Alpha, has also seen a Rs1 million cut and is now priced at Rs8.499 million.

The massive price drop is aimed at reinforcing Kia’s footprint in the hybrid SUV market. The Sportage L offers a complete package with features such as advanced LED DRLs, redesigned tail lights, and a sleek front fascia. Its interior boasts ambient smart lighting, comfortable seating, and a modern infotainment system, creating a premium driving experience.

For safety-conscious drivers, the SUV is equipped with cutting-edge features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and blind spot monitoring, making it stand out in its category.

Kia clarified that the reduced prices are for a limited time only and apply while current stock lasts, so it’s a first come, first served offer.
