(Web Desk): Eid is unlikely tomorrow in Pakistan, with strong chances pointing to March 21 after moon sighting uncertainty.

As excitement builds across Pakistan, the big question remains: will Eid be celebrated tomorrow or not? Latest updates suggest that Eid-ul-Fitr is unlikely to be tomorrow, with strong indications pointing to a later date.

According to astronomical forecasts and early reports, the Shawwal moon is not expected to be clearly visible in Pakistan, making it difficult to confirm Eid for the next day.

Experts from SUPARCO have already predicted that Ramazan will likely complete 30 days this year, meaning Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on March 21, 2026, not tomorrow.

Globally, the situation also supports this timeline. Several Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia and UAE, have already announced Eid on March 20 after the moon was not sighted earlier.

Since Pakistan usually observes Eid a day after Saudi Arabia due to local moon sighting differences, this further strengthens the expectation that Eid will be celebrated a day later in the country.

However, the final decision will be made by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which relies on actual moon sighting reports across the country before announcing Eid officially.

Citizens are now eagerly waiting for the moon sighting announcement, as Chaand Raat preparations hang in the balance. If the moon is not sighted tonight, Pakistan will complete 30 fasts and celebrate Eid the following day.

For now, all signs suggest one thing: Eid in Pakistan is most likely not tomorrow.
